We’re half way through the 30 day Jump Start to Summer Bookings ecourse and I’m getting some great feedback on the value of the tips and templates that are included. Even if you’re fully booked for the summer, you can use them to increase your visibility to prospective guests and gain even more trust and confidence from current guests.

As the chief marketer for your Bed and Breakfast business, you have to consistently keep your services in the forefront of guests’ minds so that when they’re ready to book, they pick you. I experienced a fabulous example of being where your potential customers are this weekend. I was in my front yard clipping hedges and doing some general clean-up when a guy and his son pulled up in a pick-up truck.

He approached me with business card in hand and proceeded to give me a run-down of the yard services he could provide. Now I had seen him a couple of weeks before at one of my neighbor’s home but at the time was distracted and didn’t bother to get his card. This time, with my muscles already aching from bending and clipping, not only was I ready to hear his message but I hired him on the spot!

This guy knows who his target market is and he understands the value of being visible at a time when his customers are most likely to need his services. Kudos to him!

If you haven’t signed up for the Jump Start, here’s a sample of  the ideas you missed:

  • Day 2: Learn an easy way to entice past guests to start thinking about booking for this year
  • Day 3: Learn how to give Facebook fans a reason to click over to your website and join your list.
  • Day 7: Learn the Do’s and Don’ts of posting promotional offers on Social Media

But – no worries! You can still sign up. You will start with Day 1 and receive an automated email each day for 30 days until the course is complete. Visit the Sign-up page by clicking here.
